Surinam Cherry Black (Eugenia Uniflora)

Surinam Cherry (Eugenia Uniflora)   is a small to medium-sized evergreen shrub or small tree that can grow up to 3 to 10 meters (10 to 33 feet) in height. It has dense, bushy foliage with elliptical or lance-shaped leaves that are glossy and dark green in color. The plant produces small, round fruit that resembles cherries, with a diameter of about 1 to 2 centimeters (0.4 to 0.8 inches). The fruit starts out green and turns to shades of yellow, orange, or red as it ripens.
