The center white leaf stripe makes a very showy plant. This is slower growing than other forms of elephant bush, Portulacaria Afra has brown stems from which bicolor leaves are born, they are green on the outside and yellow on the inside. It normally blooms after spring and summer rains with small pink flowers.
