Sansevieria 'Chao Praya'

Sansevieria ‘Chao Praya’ (also spelled Chao Phraya) is a rare, highly sought-after collector’s hybrid snake plant known for its striking, architectural fanning form and beautiful silvery-gray coloration. Named after Thailand’s famous Chao Phraya River (“River of Kings”), this hybrid was created by Suan Unyamanee at Unyamanee Gardens and is celebrated as one of the earliest prominent “silvery leaf” hybrids. It is likely derived from thick, fleshy species like Sansevieria pinguicula or Sansevieria ehrenbergii.
